About the PPG: Improving the Patient Experience
NHS Central London: Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is a consortium of 24 GP practices in Westminster of which King's College Health Centre is a member. The CCG Patient Participation Group is made of patient representatives from each member practice. They discuss developments and change occurring at local and national level. They are also involved in decision making, open discussion in planned changes for improvement and procurement of services.
King's College Health Centre PPG offers a route for patients to provide feedback on our current services, and opinion on prospective future services meeting quarterly at user group meetings. We also regularly arrange to meet at a practice level to address any suggestions and feedback on areas of development and service delivery.
This provides an excellent opportunity for students to understand how the wider NHS and primary care service works and to effect change for future delivery of care working in close collaboration with care givers- i.e. the Doctors and Nurses.
If you are interested in joining the King's College Health Centre Patient Participation Group please inform our reception and we will get in touch with you.
For those interested in joining our PPG you may like to take a look at this short animation on the current structure of the NHS.
We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
To help us with this, we are setting up a virtual patient representation group so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.
We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.
