The Health Centre is sited in the Macadam Building of the Strand Campus. Our premises are fully accessible to wheelchair users and patients with restricted mobility. We are what is known in the UK as a General Practice.

We provide an accessible confidential service which works with you to meet your health needs as every patient deserves our personal best.
King's College NHS Health Centre was established in 2001 providing health care for students and staff of King's College London. Our team includes doctors, nurses, and other health workers.

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) / Meningitis ACWY Vaccinations

You are also strongly recommended to have had the Meningitis ACWY Vaccine.

You should check your vaccination history before coming to university, but if you are unsure, please contact your GP to arrange the vaccination.

         Travel Vaccinations Appointments

If you are planning on travelling and require travel vaccinations please try to book your Travel Health Risk Assessment appointment with the nurse 6 - 8 weeks before you go.  Certain vaccinations need to be given over several weeks so it is better to come in as soon as possible, especially at busy times of the year for Travel Health appointments.

If you have an appointment at the Travel Health Clinic you MUST complete the Pre-Travel Questionnaire beforehand. Please bring the completed questionnaire along with your vaccination history and your Occupational health information to your appointment or email them to us at kingscollegehc@nhs.net. This will help us provide you with a better service.
